The Final Showdown
It's been a fun season for the Division 7 teams, but all good things must come to an end. We will crown a Division Champion this weekend as we end the 2010 regular season at Guntersville Lake. Unfortunatley for most of the teams it will be a battle for the second place award as Al & Kerri Torrey have all but put the title away. Al & Kerri have had an amazing run this year with the worst of their best (4) tournaments finishing in second place. They are (1) point away from a perfect season and can perform the near impossible task with a win this weekend. We will award plaques for the first and second place teams in our divisional points standings after this weekend's event.

The North Alabama Division got off to a cool start as they launched from First Creek on Saturday morning, but the day turned out to be beautiful. Every team scored a limit, but quality fish were in short supply on the Tennessee River impoundment.
As the scales closed, it was Al & Kerrie Torrey with a 14.65 lb bag of smallmouth that took the victory and $788.00. Big bass also went to Al Torrey with a 4.25 lb smallmouth. Lady's big bass went to Debbie Kelley with a 3.45 lb. smallmouth.
